Private Hire

I’ve had the pleasure of playing at many private events including clubs, bars, peoples houses and the odd basement. They have always been for some sort of celebration, which have included many different age groups and possibly different tastes in music to me.

Over the years I have developed the skill of reading the room and playing accordingly. If I was playing at a nice bar or drinks club for instance, I understand that the music is not necessarily the focus point for people early on. I play to keep the background energy of the room alive and buzzing, creating a electricity in the air with lovely minimal and groovy house vibes.

Where as parties are slightly different, as it requires reading the room. I would be in the mindset of slowly building the music up over the course of the party. Making people feel comfortable, attracting them to the dance floor.
